About Positive Christians
Positive Christians is a singles online community dedicated to helping HSV, HPV,
and HIV positive Christian men and women meet in a comfortable and secure online
environment. Our unique personals community is a source for creating meaningful
relationships that hopefully will produce close friends and God willing,
wonderful Christian marriages. Our goal is for you to find hope, happiness and a
future full of God’s direction and will for your life.
Positive Christians was created because there is a great need for a place where
Christians living with a STD can come together to find help and to meet each
other. I found many so called ‘Christian' singles sites on the internet, but
after a bit of research, I wasn’t impressed with more then just a few. Also,
even the few I found seemed to be associated with less than Christian
connections. Some even to the extent that they were associated with sex finder
type websites, all under the same corporate umbrella.
God, brought this scripture to mind:
2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath
light with darkness?
So, I started my quest to find a ‘true’ Christian Singles Online Community,
created not just for Christians but for Christians living with a STD. I could
not find one. I could find many secular positive dating sites, but for a
Christian to try and use a secular dating website to find a Christian
relationship, felt awkward and inappropriate to me.
So, this site was created just for you! My Christian brothers and sisters who
have found yourselves in a very hard place. You are not alone!
I hope that you will help me to make this site a success for the sake of
Christians like yourself, and most importantly, that God will be glorified and
pleased with our efforts. This is a golden opportunity to put legs to your
Christianity. This is a ministry, not just a dating web site. You can go to the
forum and post your story of when you were diagnosed, how you felt and what you
did to manage to move on, to find hope. You can join a chat room and comfort
someone, pray with them. Even giving financially to this ministry, is a
privilege that God promises to honor.
